Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:

Call for opens:

Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the September 8 meeting were reviewed.  Bob Ross noted that "IIS" should
have been "ISS".  Bob Ross moved to approve with corrections as noted.  Randy Wolff
seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved.


ARs:

BIRD181.2:
Mike LaBonte suggested the Editorial Task Group could address this BIRD.  Bob Ross
wondered if the Editorial group might continue after 7.1 is released, to work on it.
Randy Wolff felt that was a reasonable approach.  Bob said we needed to decide the
trigger point for releasing 7.1.  Randy suggested BIRD202 acceptance should suffice.
Bob noted that BIRD181.2 was purely editorial.  Mike moved to table the topic.
Bob seconded.  Without objection the motion passed.


New parser bugs:
Bob Ross reported there were no new bug reports.


IBISCHK 7.0.2 development:
Bob Ross said payment was expected to be made by SAE ITC on Wednesday.


IBIS-ISS parser:
Mike LaBonte suggested having an Open Forum discussion to get feedback on the level
of interest in ISSCHK source code purchases, and the depth of checking desired.
Randy suggested the feature could simply be an IBISCHK bug report requesting an
enhancement to only check ISS files for expected subcircuit definitions.  Mike said later
enhancements could add other features such as element checking and parameter checking.
Bob described other checks such as topology completeness.  Mike asked if we had file
existence checking. Bob said we did.
